Project 1(A)

Individually, student is required to watch the movie documentary ‘EARTH’ 2007 (click link above) and to present factual information, personal experiences and thoughts on an A4 size document. The content requires your observation, extended research and reflection on the things that you have been documenting and experiencing, and what interest you the most and maybe some life changing event. Student need to sketch and describe in detail of elements that you personally investigated through the ‘EARTH’ movie documentary.

Miniature shelter in Nature

This assignment is to create awareness and to look at the natural environment from a different perspective and eventually it will remind
you of your role towards the natural environment.

SHELTER

The perfect shelter meant for Leonardo, for both his comfort and safety. Many features have been modified on the shelter making it th best among all.

BOARDS

1. Show the layout of Janda Naik and a perspective view of it.
2. Explains about geosphere, hydosphere and Leonardo's features.
3. Provides a full view of our main site, explaining what each elements in it is for.
4. The reasoning on why it is placed there.
5. About our shelter and what is altered around it.

HISTORY, LANDMARKS & ACCESSIBILITY

Bandar Utama Damansara is a residential township located within the Damansara subdivision of the Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is a residential suburb and home to the popular 1 Utama Shopping Centre. Bandar Utama Damansara, together with neighbouring Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, are within the section PJU6 of Petaling Jaya.

SITE STUDY AND STREET INTERVENTION

We had to construct ideas on street intervention based Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. We had to be critical when conducting our site study. We needed to sketch perspectives, section when identifying the elements/components on site.
